Zusammenfassung

Nach den derzeit gültigen Klassifikationsschemata psychiatrischer Erkrankungen darf eine sog. endogene Psychose (Schizophrenie, Zyklothymie) nur dann diagnostiziert werden, wenn keine hirnmorphologischen Alterationen vorliegen. Demnach klingt die im Titel dieses Beitrages implizierte Feststellung von temporalen Hypoplasien bei Schizophrenen paradox.
