Zusammenfassung

Die auf Hebra zurückgehende Bezeichnung Erythema exsudativum multiforme ist heute nur noch im deutschsprachigen Raum gängig. Im internationalen Schrifttum wird das klinisch wohl zu definierende, ätiologisch nur teilweise geklärte Krankheitsbild als Erythema multiforme bezeichnet. Es muß hier nicht betont werden, daß nicht jedes polymorphe Erythem ein Erythema exsudativum multiforme ist.
