Zusammenfassung
In diesem Papier wird ein objekt-orientiertes Programmiersystem vorgestellt, das als Prototyp bereits verfügbar ist. Das Programmiersystem besteht aus den folgenden beiden Komponenten:

einer strikt typisierten objekt-orientierten Programmiersprache
-
einer Datenbank.
Der Anwendungsprogrammierer muß keine Datenbankkenntnisse besitzen, da alle Funktionen zur Datenverwaltung einheitlich in die Programmiersprache eingebunden sind. Diese Integration des objekt-orientierten Ansatzes und der Datenbank-Welt bildet eine mächtige Grundlage für viele neue Anwendungen, insbesondere für Bürosysteme und Expertensysteme.
