Zusammenfassung
Die zunehmende Verbreitung von computergestützten Planungssystemen auf der Grundlage der Tabellenkalkulation steht im Gegensatz zu der rückläufigen Zahl industrieller Anwendungen der mathematischen Optimierung. Ursachen dieser Entwicklung werden untersucht und daraus Hinweise für eine praxisgerechte Gestaltung von Optimierungssystemen abgeleitet.
Summary
The increasing distribution of computer aided planning systems based on spread sheet techniques is in contrast to the small and decreasing number of industrial applications using mathematical programming. Reasons are analysed and requirements for the development of optimization systems are given.
