Zusammenfassung

Nach einer gängigen Hypothese geht man heute allgemein davon aus, daß es beim gesunden Menschen ständig zu einer geringen Bildung von Fibrin im Gefäßsystem kommt, das aber sofort durch Plasmin wieder aufgelöst wird. Gerinnung und Fibrinolyse befinden sich also in einem dynamischen Gleichgewicht (1), welches bei pathologischen Zuständen mit Thrombose- oder Blutungsneigung gestört ist. Eine Abschätzung der Aktivität beider Systeme ist durch die Bestimmung neuerer Laborparameter besser möglich.
