Abstract

Idiopathic urolithiasis and coronary artery disease have been described as diseases of the affluent communities. Both the conditions are strongly influenced by environmental factors such as diet. During the course of an investigation of the effects of various nutrients on risk factors for stone in normal subjects and idiopathic stoneformers, the opportunity also arose to assess the risk factors for atherosclerotic disease.
