Zusammenfassung

Die Gymnastik für Säuglinge und Kleinkinder baut auf der physiologischen Bewegungsentwicklung des Säuglings im ersten Lebensjahr auf. Alle Bewegungsetappen von der horizontalen bis zur vertikalen Körperhaltung werden systematisch mit dem zur Therapie überwiesenen Kind vollzogen. Dabei wird auf vorhandenen Bewegungsfähigkeiten und Fertigkeiten aufgebaut und das geübt, was noch nicht beherrscht wird.
