Zusammenfassung
Laboruntersuchungen zur Objektivierung von Therapieeffekten müssen, wenn sie für die Praxis brauchbar sein sollen, einige allgemeine Forderungen erfüllen. So sollten vor allem ätiologisch und pathogenetisch bedeutsame bzw. krankheitsspezifische Parameter erfaßt werden, die direkt therapeutisch beeinflußbar sind. Als Alternative kommt die Bestimmung von Meßgrößen in Frage, die therapiespezifisch verändert werden und aus denen indirekt auf den therapeutischen Effekt geschlosssen werden kann. In jedem Fall sollten über die klinische Untersuchung hinausgehende Informationen zur Beeinflussung des Krankheitsprozesses gewonnen werden. Speziell für die entzündlich-rheumatischen Erkrankungen ist die Wertung der lokalen oder systemischen Entzündungsaktivität erwünscht. Schließlich erhebt sich aus allgemeinmethodischer Sicht die Forderung, technisch möglichst einfache, jederzeit wiederholbare, empfindliche und verläßliche Laboruntersuchungen zur Verfügung zu stellen.
