Zusammenfassung

Periartikuläre Verknöcherungen stellen eine ernst zu nehmende Komplikation nach künstlichem Hüftgelenkersatz dar. Sie sind neben der tiefen Infektion und technischen Komplikationen von besonderer klinischer Bedeutung und können das Ergebnis einer Endoprothesenoperation erheblich beeinträchtigen [5, 9, 15, 16].
