Zusammenfassung

Das Vorhandensein einer körperlichen Krankheit erhöht das Risiko für eine psychiatrische Störung. Dies wurde in zahlreichen Untersuchungen dargestellt. Neurologische Erkrankungen bilden hierbei keine Ausnahme. In einer Untersuchung von 342 ambulanten neurologischen Patienten eines nordenglischen Krankenhauses wurden beispielsweise bei 48% pathologisch hohe Werte im Goldberg Fragebogen für neurotische Symptome ermittelt (Kirk u. Saunders 1979).
