Abstract
In addition to EEG, CT, MRI, and SPECT have gained importance as diagnostic tools for the localization of structural and functional disturbances in focal epilepsies. In the following study 99mTc-HMPAO SPECT was used for the first time for investigation in patients with focal epilepsies, in relation to EEG-proven foci. The results are compared with those of CT and MRI.
