Metabolism of Organic N-Compounds

Abstract

In continuation of previous reviews in this series, we wish to discuss some new aspects from the fields of photorespiratory nitrogen metabolism, formation, and degradation of nitrogen storage compounds, such as asparagine and the ureides, as well as selected topics from amino acid metabolism, including the often neglected group of the “unphysiological” D-amino acids.
