Zusammenfassung

Akute und chronische Lebererkrankungen beeinflussen in erheblichem Ausmaß die perioperative Morbidität und Mortalität [2]. Lebererkrankungen spielen in der präoperativen Risikoeinschätzung eine besondere Rolle: Bei der Analyse von 45 000 chirurgischen Eingriffen fanden sich bei Patienten mit vorbestehender Leberschädigung fast 500mal häufiger postoperative Komplikationen der Leberfunktion als bei Lebergesunden [6].
