Abstract
Ovum transfer is defined as the nonsurgical uterine recovery and transfer of an in vivo fertilized human ovum donated by a fertile woman to an infertile recipient couple. From January 1983 to June 1984, ten fertile donor women and 13 infertile couples participated in the research program of nonsurgical ovum transfer. This program was reviewed and approved by the institutional review board and all parties signed informed consents.
