Zusammenfassung

Colitis ulcerosa und M. Crohn sind multifaktoriell bedingte oder psychosomatische Krankheiten, weil bei ihrer Verursachung und Auslösung verschiedene somatische Faktoren - konstitutionelle oder Erbanlagen, infektiöse, allergische bzw. immunologische - und psychische Einflüsse wirksam sind (Enke 1959; de Boor 11964/65; Feldman et al. 1967; Whybrow et al. 1968; Singer et al. 1971). Sowohl in somatischer wie auch in psychosomatischer und tiefenpsychologischer Sicht gibt es eine Fülle von Hypothesen über den Einfluß der verschiedenen Teilursachen, ihre Wechsel- oder Zusammenwirkung ist aber unsicher geblieben, so daß die Ätiopathogenese beider Krankheiten auch heute noch ungeklärt ist.
