A New Application Method for Fibrin Sealant: The Glue Gun

  • R. A. Tange

Fibrin glue is successfully used especially in middle ear surgery and has become a routine technique in otology in our Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Department. Nevertheless, in our opinion the usual application method was not satisfactory and so we have developed our own device. With this glue gun we are now able to control the dosage of the fibrin glue without spilling. The sealant can now be used more effectively.
