Zusammenfassung

Zondek [1] wies 1930 in seiner historisch wichtig gewordenen Arbeit erstmals darauf hin, daß das Schwangerschaftshormon auch im Harn von Patienten mit Hodentumor nachweisbar sei. Diese Beobachtung war Ausgangspunkt dafür, Hormone als sog. Tumormarker einzusetzen.
