Zusammenfassung
Das Chorionepitheliom gehört ätiologisch zumeist zu den schwangerschaftsbedingten Trophoblastneoplasien, die vor dem Einsatz von Antimetaboliten eine sehr schlechte Prognose zeigten, unabhängig von der Ausdehnung der chirurgischen oder strahlentherapeutischen Maßnahmen. Seit 1956 wird bei diesem Krankheitsbild sehr erfolgreich und nahezu modellhaft eine systemische Chemotherapie mit Antimetaboliten als erste therapeutische Modalität eingesetzt, was zu außerordentlich ermutigenden Ergebnissen führte [8]. Die Heilungsraten nähern sich jetzt 100% bei Patientinnen ohne Metastasenbildung und bei Tumoren mit guten prognostischen Kriterien im metastasierten Stadium.
