Zusammenfassung

Die im Vergleich zu anderen Organneoplasien relativ geringe Häufigkeit der endokrinen Tumoren steht im umgekehrten Verhältnis zu der Problematik, die sie in mehrfacher Hinsicht bieten. Diese resultiert aus den Beziehungen zwischen Morphologie und endokriner Aktivität, vor allem aber auch aus den Schwierigkeiten in der Differentialdiagnose zwischen den bösartigen und gutartigen Neoplasien oder nodösen Hyperplasien.
