Zur Sonographie der Gallenwege

Zusammenfassung

Im folgenden soll auf neuere Aspekte der Sonographie der Gallenwege eingegangen werden, welche entscheidend durch die Entwicklung und zunehmende Anwendung von hoch auflösenden Real-time-Sektorscannern beeinflußt wurde. Dabei wird der Frage nachgegangen, ob die bisher eher skeptische Beurteilung der Aussagekraft im Nachweis intraluminaler Veränderungen Anlaß zu mehr Optimismus gibt. Gleichzeitig wird auf die methodischen Grenzen und möglichen Fehlleistungen hingewiesen. Nicht behandelt werden Malformationen des Gallenwegssystems.
