Zusammenfassung
Operationen, die aufgrund der modernen Gelenkendoprothetik an Popularität verloren hatten, sind die Arthroplastiken des Ellbogens. In den 50er und 60er Jahren sind jedoch über diese Operationsmethoden, die bei Einsteifungen des Ellbogens angezeigt sind, positive Berichte veröffentlicht worden (Albert 1949; Blauth u. Donner 1979; Knight u. van Zandt 1952; Serafín u. Ramotowski 1970). Die Techniken, Indikationen und Kontraindikationen der Arthroplastik des Ellbogens sind von Payr (1910), MacAusland (1921), Campbell (1922), Lange (1928) und Gruca (1931) bearbeitet worden.
