Abstract
History. Most authors assume that myxomas affect the jaws exclusively and have an odontogenic origin. Their occurrence elsewhere in the skeleton is controversial (Zimmermann and Dahlin 1958; Lichtenstein 1965; Pindborg and Hjørting-Hansen 1974).
