Abstract

The use of low-intensity radiation represents a new category of laser application in medicine. The nonthermal application gained growing interest also in photodermatological research and therapy. Mainly dye lasers are of great potential in photomedicine because of their mono- chromaticity, high spectral intensity, and wavelength tunability (1,2).
