Zusammenfassung

Ein Hypopyon ist immer als Hinweis für einen schweren entzündlichen Prozess zu werten und für einige sehr spezifische Formen der Uveitis charakteristisch. Eine separate Besprechung des Hypopyons (und „Pseudohypopyons“) erscheint uns deshalb wichtig, da es ein zwar sehr dramatisches, aber auch außerordentlich hilfreiches diagnostisches Zeichen darstellt.
