Zusammenfassung
Auch in der Ära hochpotenter Breitbandantibiotika gehören septische Krankheitsverläufe keineswegs der Vergangenheit an: prädisponiert sind Patienten mit Panmyelophthise, mit primären [26] oder sekundären Immundefekten [17,34,36], insbesonders Patienten mit myeloproliferativen Erkrankungen, Plasmozytom [29], Infektion mit HTLV III-Virus [13,17], nach Splenektomie [19,25], anderen chirurgischen Eingriffen [28] oder konsumierenden Erkrankungen [40]. Patienten unter zytostatischer (immunsuppressiver) Therapie nach Organtransplantationen [23], bei Tumoren bzw. hämatologischen Systemerkrankungen zählen ebenfalls zur Risikogruppe, septische Komplikationen auch mit opportunistischen Keimen zu entwickeln. Möglicherweise steht unter anderem ein verminderter IgM-Gehalt im Serum hiermit in ursächlichem Zusammenhang (Abb. 1 und 2).
