Abstract

Morphological diseases of the eye and also functional disorders of the organ of vision due to nutritional deficiencies are being diagnosed with increasing frequency. These are caused by pathological vascular, haemorrhagic or metabolic changes, which often occur together in advanced stages. In addition there are ocular diseases of a different aetiology, which can be favourably influenced through additional therapy.
