Entwurf einer Allgemeinen Modellbeschreibungssprache

Zusammenfassung

Die Allgemeine Modellbeschreibungssprache SIMPLEX-MDL ist Bestandteil des Simulationsystems SIMPLEX II. In einem einheitlichen Konzept werden die Modellklassen „kontinuierliche Modelle“, „ereignisorientierte Modelle“ und „transactionsorientierte Modelle mit beschränkten Warteräumen“ behandelt.

Die Sprache ist blockorientiert und hierarchisch strukturiert. Eine einmal definierte Modellkomponente vereinbart eine Klasse, von der beliebig viele Inkarnationen erzeugt werden können.

Die Modellkomponenten sind bezogen auf Schreibzugriffe autonom, bezogen auf Lesezugriffe transparent. Daher können Modellkomponenten jederzeit ausgetauscht, portiert oder in einer Modellbank abgelegt werden.

The General Purpose Model Description Language is part of the simulation system SIMPLEX II. The model classes “continuous models”, “event-oriented models” and “transaction-oriented models” are handled by a integrated concept.

The language is block-oriented and hierarchically structured. A previously defined model component defines a class, from which an arbitrary number of incarnations can be generated.

In respect to write access, model components are autonomous, whereas, in respect to read access they are transparent. Therefore, model components are easily exchangeable and portable and can be stored in a model bank.
