Zusammenfassung
Die hypertrophische Kardiomyopathie ist eine seltene Erkrankung mit ungeklärter Ätiologie, für die eine kausale Therapie bisher unbekannt ist. Neben familiären Formen kommen auch sporadische Manifestationen vor. Das männliche Geschlecht scheint etwa doppelt so häufig betroffen wie das weibliche [3].
