Abstract

In a section from the medulla of the thymus, it is possible to see a broad three-dimensional framework of reticular-epithelial cells (1), which are separated from one another by lymphocytes (2). Granulocytes, mast cells (3), etc. also occur in the wide intercellular meshes.
