Self-Organization Autowaves and Structures Far from Equilibrium

Part of the book series: Springer Series in Synergetics ((SSSYN,volume 28))

Abstract

Profound ideas of synergetics play an important role in physical theories from high-energy physics to cosmology. They are also of great interest for chemists and biologists. In this communication we should like to outline the role of these ideas in the scientific picture of prebiological evolution, which is one of the most interesting and so far unsolved problems of the natural sciences.
