Self-Organization Autowaves and Structures Far from Equilibrium

Part of the book series: Springer Series in Synergetics ((SSSYN,volume 28))

Abstract

Recently, the problem of self-organization in non-equilibrium systems has intensively been discussed [l, 2, 3]. The major role in the process of successive generation and formation of more complicated temporal and spatial structures is played by fluctuations [l]. As shown in [4], the form of dissipative structures can be changed due to loss of the initial stable state, when external parameters are varied, and to subsequent dynamical rearrangement.
