Zusammenfassung

Für perioperative Maßnahmen bei Patienten mit Störungen des Hypothalamus-Hypophysen-Systems sind Grundkenntnisse von endokrinen und anatomischen Besonderheiten notwendig (Abb. 1). Das in der Abbildung wiedergegebene Schema faßt die enge Verbindung zwischen Hypothalamus, Hypophysenhinter-und -vorderlappen und der ausgeschütteten Hormone mit ihren spezifischen Wirkungen zusammen und läßt die Vielfalt der Auswirkungen von Hypothalamus-Hypophysen-Störungen auch im Zusammenhang mit Anästhesie und operativem Eingriff deutlich werden (1, 12, 13 17) . Hierauf wird in anderen Beiträgen dieses Bandes detailliert eingegangen.
