Abstract

The susceptibility of individuals to various forms of morbidity and mortality may change over time due to changes in individuals’ behavior, occupation, etc., as well as environmental changes. In some instances it is useful to classify individuals into risk groups and to analyze the dynamics of the changing proportion of individuals in the various groups. These dynamics may be important in evaluating alternative health strategies.
