Abstract
We heard Dr. Dudley Johnson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, conclude that he thought that coronary bypass surgery did relatively little to either improve or prevent employment after coronary bypass surgery. However, there were some interesting subsets in his study, including a group of patients over the age of 65 who in fact had higher employment rates than the general population in the United States.
