Abstract

Homozygous typing cells (HTC) are the reference reagents for the cellular definition of HLA-D [1] and originally formed the basis for the definition of HLA-DR [2]. The serological definition of HLA-DR is improving through the availability of better techniques and an increasing number of reagents.
