PEDPLO: The Pedigree Plot Program

  • Conference paper

Abstract

Analysis of the linkage of different loci, analysis of the association of disease and haplotype, differentiation of the MHC region, and research in histocompatibility depend widely on family analyses. For extensive analyses, as done in this workshop by the family analyses package FAP (M. Neugebauer et al., Analysis of Multilocus Pedigree Data by Computer, this volume), clear graphical presentation of inheritance becomes very important.
