Maligne Tumoren des Hals-Nasen-Ohren-Gebiets (HNO) repräntieren in unseren Breitengraden 5(PERCENT) aller neu diagnostizierten Krebserkrankungen. Dabei sind Patienten mit Osophagus- und Bronchialkarzinomen sowie mit Schilddrülignomen nicht eingerechnet. Das onkologische Krankengut der HNO-Kliniken wird in seiner Vielfalt aus internistischer Sicht häufig unterschätzt.
