Abstract

Both congestive heart failure due to left ventricular insufficiency and recurrent thromboembolic episodes are accepted worldwide as indications for left ventricular aneurysmectomy. On the other hand, surgical treatment for ventricular tachycardia or angina pectoris refractory to medical treatment as symptoms of inoperable multiple coronary artery disease and for left ventricular aneurysm are still controversial.
