Abstract

In our research on the position of the centre of gravity about to be described, we used rigidly frozen cadavers in order to avoid errors resulting from the softness of the material. Using an artificial freezing mixture we froze the cadavers so hard that they remained completely rigid until the end of the investigation, both as whole cadavers and as the segments into which they were later divided.
