Zusammenfassung

Die speziellen kardiologischen Untersuchungsmethoden teilt man zweckmäßigerweise in nichtinvasive und invasive Verfahren ein. Diese Trennung wird in allen nachfolgenden von den einzelnen Krankheitsbildern handelnden Abschnitten eingehalten. Die in den 2 folgenden Kapiteln gegebenen Beschreibungen beinhalten die allgemeinen Prinzipien, die den kardiologischen Untersuchungen zugrunde liegen. Sie zielen nicht darauf ab, dem Leser ausreichende technische Details zu vermitteln, um die Untersuchungsmaßnahmen selbständig vornehmen zu können. Vielmehr sollen sie helfen, die kardiologischen Untersuchungen verstehen und interpretieren zu lernen. Die technischen Fertigkeiten und Feinheiten eignet man sich am besten mit Hilfe eines erfahrenen Klinikers an, indem man bei der Durchführung der Untersuchungen mitarbeitet und diese auf Patienten anwendet, die man selbst aufgenommen und körperlich untersucht hat.
