Zusammenfassung
Dieses Kapitel handelt von Myokarditiden und Kardiomyopathien. Zusätzlich werden verschiedene Krankheiten besprochen, die sich mit einer Myokardbeteili- gung äußern. Der hypertrophen obstruktiven Kardiomyopathie, oft idiopathische hypertrophe Subaorten- stenose (IHSS) genannt, wird ein gesonderter Abschnitt gewidmet, da diese wegen des Auskultationsbefunds eines Austreibungsgeräusches und des gesamten klinischen Bilds, das eher auf einen Herzklappenfehler hinweist, ein anderes diagnostisches Vorgehen erfordert als die idiopathische Kardiomyopathie, deren Hauptzeichen die Stauung im großen und kleinen Kreislauf darstellen.
