Zusammenfassung

Die Aortenklappenfehler sind unter den gesamten Herzklappenfehlern die zweitgrößte Gruppe. 35% der Patienten mit einem Klappenvitium weisen einen Aortenklappenfehler auf. Eine befriedigende Klassifikation, die alle möglichen Ursachen, die verschiedenen hämodynamischen Schweregrade, den Zeitverlauf (akut oder chronisch), die pathologische Anatomie und die Natur des Klappenschadens vollständig berücksichtigt, ist schwierig zu erstellen.
