Zusammenfassung

Das Kardiakarzinom ist ein „Wanderer zwischen zwei Welten“. Pathologisch-histologische Kriterien legen nahe, es zu den malignen Tumoren des Magens zu rechnen [20, 21]. Der Chirurg neigt dazu, es wegen operationstaktischer Kriterien den Ösophaguskarzinomen zuzuordnen [5, 10, 15, 16, 22, 23, 40, 45]. Verstärkt wird diese Ansicht durch die vom onkologischen Standpunkt aus unkorrekte Tendenz, diesen Tumor unter Zuhilfenahme verschiedener „Tricks“, aber immer ungenügend, allein durch Laparotomie zu resezieren [19, 28].
