Recommendations for Medical Treatment of Asymptomatic Coronary Artery Disease

  • Conference paper
Silent Myocardial Ischemia

Abstract

Basic to the treatment of a disease is an understanding of its natural history. The natural history studies available in asymptomatic coronary artery disease are limited; they will be summarized briefly before consideration of specific medical recommendations. Special attention will be directed toward those studies in which silent myocardial ischemia was documented in the asymptomatic population.
