Abstract
Very little is known about pathophysiological differences between symptomatic and asymptomatic coronary artery disease. The presence or absence of anginal pain has often led to the theory that pain could be related to the amount of jeopardized myocardium [1]. One way to evaluate this hypothesis is to quantify the extent of ischemic alterations during exercise in coronary patients with or without chest anginal symptoms.
