Zusammenfassung
Morphologie und Hämodynamik des spinalen GefaBsystems fanden überraschend lange Zeit wenig Beachtung in den naturwissenschaftlichen und klinischen Disziplinen. Obwohl die grundlegenden Arbeiten von Adamkiewicz (1882) [1] und einige Jahre später die sorgfiiltige Monographie von Kadyi [26] die wesentlichen morphologischen Grundlagen aufzeigten, erfolgte eine Fortsetzung und Vertiefung dieser Arbeiten erst nach mehr als 50 Jahren durch Suh und Alexander (1931) [39]. In den 50er und 60er Jahren beschiiftigten sich dann Clemens [3], Djindjian [10–14], Gillilan [21], Jellinger [24, 25], Lazorthes et al. [31] sowie in neuerer Zeit Crock und Yoshizawa [5], Domisse [15] und Piscol [35] mit der morphologischen Anatomie und Kreislaufphysiologie des spinalen Gefäßsystems.
