Zusammenfassung
Zum Verständnis für die kolposkopische Pathologie an der Portio muß man sich die Entwicklung dieses Organs von der Neonatal- bis zur Adoleszentenzeit vor Augen führen. In diesem relativ kurzen Lebensabschnitt wird offenbar, wie sehr besonders die Epithelverhältnisse an der Zervix, insbesondere die Topographie der Plattenepithel-Zylinderepithelgrenze (PZG), von der jeweiligen Hormonsituation abhängig sind.
