Zusammenfassung

Der Brandverletzte ist einer Infektionsgefahr in ganz besonderem Maße ausgesetzt, da einerseits durch die Verbrennung der schützende Hautmantel zerstört wird, andererseits das geschädigte Gewebe sowie das Wundsekret einen idealen Nährboden für eine Keimbesiedlung darstellen.
