Zusammenfassung
Wir blicken nun auf mehr als 10 Jahre klinischen Einsatz der Hochfrequenzbeatmung zurück. Von Sjöstrand [17] wurde die High frequency positive pressure Ventilation (HFPPV), von Klain u. Smith [11] die High frequency jet Ventilation (HFJV) und von Bohn et al. [4] nach Entwicklung durch Lunkenheimer et al. [13] die High frequency oscillation (HFO) in die Klinik eingeführt.
