Abstract
Thirteen healthy men and women aged between 23 and 37 years volunteered for peripheral regional anaesthesia. In six subjects the latency time was studied from the point of view of optimizing methods. In the other seven, the blockade and regression of vasomotoricity and voluntary motoricity were quantitatively measured and latency and regression times precisely defined. The latency and regression times of the sensations of cold, pain and touch were recorded on the basis of subjective statements.
